To Bring In Everlasting Righteousness!

Let’s look at the rest of those Points that Jesus the Messiah was to accomplish when he was born and ministered those 3 ½ years! We see these very important points in Daniel 9:24.
Let’s look at them –
Dan 9:24 AKJV/PCE Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

And Jesus did begin the holding back of sin. And He made a sacrifice for sin. And through His sacrifice Jesus did make a reconciliation, propitiation, covering over our sins so that we won’t be judged by the Father!
Now Daniel 9:24 also says that the Messiah, Jesus, would bring in everlasting righteousness, seal up the vision and prophecy, and anoint the most Holy!
So what does ALL that refer to?
To bring in everlasting righteousness – Christ did bring in an everlasting righteousness for us through His death for sins.
Rom 3:21 AKJV/PCE But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
Rom 3:22 AKJV/PCE Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
Jesus also taught that the kingdom of God was at hand.
Satan still has some power for the moment. But God’s Eternal Kingdom has begun and come more fully at the time of Jesus Second Coming.
Luke 4:43 AKJV/PCE And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.
Matt 10:6 AKJV/PCE But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

To seal up the vision and prophecy –
John Gill explains it this way – “. . not to shut it up out of sight; rather to set a mark on it, by which it might be more clearly known; but to consummate and fulfil it: all prophecy is sealed up in Christ . .”.
Paul explains a great deal in 1 Corinthians 15 about Jesus death, and Resurrection, as well as the Father’s will to use Jesus to accomplish His plan
(1 Cor. 15:24-28).

To anoint the most Holy –
Well people understand this at several levels . .

In a vision Ezekiel see’s an angel measure the city (Jerusalem) and the temple.
And he measure them in great detail!

I don’t believe there is any sense that these details are meant only symbolically.
There is just to much very specific detail in all of these measurements!
Ezekiel is seeing a literal Temple Complex that will exist in the time of Jesus’ Millennial Reign!
And let’s look at Ezekiel 41:4 again –

Now all of those measurements continue!
And look at what we see in Ezekiel 45:1-4 –

Look at all of that – “in it shall be the sanctuary and the most holy place”, “ministers of the sanctuary . . . shall come near to minister unto the LORD”, “and an holy place for the sanctuary”.

Now I think we see here that “most Holy” place that will be anointed as Jesus Christ returns to rule this earth during His Millennial Reign.
