Is The Millennium Perfect?

QUESTION – Will the time of the Millennium be perfect?
Well let’s look and see what we can find . . .
Looking at Isaiah 11 we see that the Messiah will rule Righteously. With Justice!
And the animal kingdom will be at peace.
And Isaiah says that no one will hurt = spoil, break in pieces anywhere in the Lord’s Holy Mountain. And Jerusalem is on that mountain.
Now I don’t know if that guarantee goes for all of the rest of the earth.
Isa 11:5 ESV2011 Righteousness shall be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his loins.
Isa 11:6 ESV2011 The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together; and a little child shall lead them.
Isa 11:9 ESV2011 They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.
Yes I know that we see the whole earth aware of the Lord ruling in Jerusalem.
Hab 2:14 ESV2011 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.
But we also see in Zechariah 14 that some nations will refuse to come honor the Lord at the Feast of Booths! And they will pay the price for that with drought and plague = pestilence!
And likely, some people in the rebelling nations will die from this punishment!
Zech 14:16 ESV2011 Then everyone who survives of all the nations that have come against Jerusalem shall go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Booths.
Zech 14:17 ESV2011 And if any of the families of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, there will be no rain on them.
Zech 14:18 ESV2011 And if the family of Egypt does not go up and present themselves, then on them there shall be no rain; there shall be the plague with which the LORD afflicts the nations that do not go up to keep the Feast of Booths.
Zech 14:19 ESV2011 This shall be the punishment to Egypt and the punishment to all the nations that do not go up to keep the Feast of Booths.
So there will still be sin, and periodic stubbornness for the Lord to correct . .
And though people will live longer there will still be death.
Isa 65:19 ESV2011 I will rejoice in Jerusalem and be glad in my people; no more shall be heard in it the sound of weeping and the cry of distress.
Isa 65:20 ESV2011 No more shall there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days, for the young man shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed.
So the Lord is saying that children won’t die young as happens today. A man still considered young may die at 100 years of age.
The way that is worded seems to indicate that this man died younger than expected – at only 100 years of age.
And at the end of the 1,000 years of the Millennium Satan will be released to go deceive the nations once again. And many will be ready to listen to him!
In verse 9 we see that a large body of these rebels will march toward Jerusalem, presumably to conquer it!
But the Father will hurl down fire from Heaven to consume them!
Rev 20:7 ESV2011 And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison
Rev 20:8 ESV2011 and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea.
Rev 20:9 ESV2011 And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them,
Rev 20:10 ESV2011 and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
So we can see that there will still be an undercurrent of sinfulness existing in mankind. Many will accept the Lord during this time. But some will be just waiting for a chance to throw off God’s control and be do whatever they want!
The Millennium will clearly be a wonderful time of Peace and Justice under the Lord. But there will still be sinfulness, stubbornness, imperfection, and death.
So it isn’t a Perfect Time and Setting. That will be the time of the New Jerusalem in the New Heaven and Earth. See Revelation 21-22 for that time.
But this time of the Millennium will certainly be better than anything we have now on this earth!

HOLA AMIGOS! AQUÍ HAY UNA PROFECÍA PENSADA PARA TI.
PREGUNTA – ¿Será perfecto el tiempo del Milenio?
Bueno, veamos qué podemos encontrar…
En Isaías 11, vemos que el Mesías gobernará con rectitud. ¡Con justicia!
Y el reino animal estará en paz.
Isaías dice que nadie dañará, ni destruirá, ni destruirá en ningún lugar del Monte Santo del Señor. Y Jerusalén está en ese monte.
Ahora bien, no sé si esa garantía se aplica al resto de la tierra.
Isa 11:5 RVG10 Y la justicia será el cinto de sus lomos, y la fidelidad el ceñidor de sus riñones.
Isa 11:6 RVG10 Morará el lobo con el cordero, y el leopardo con el cabrito se acostará; el becerro y el león y la bestia doméstica andarán juntos, y un niño los pastoreará.
Isa 11:9 RVG10 No harán mal ni dañarán en todo mi santo monte; porque la tierra será llena del conocimiento de Jehová, como las aguas cubren el mar.
Sí, sé que vemos que toda la tierra está consciente del Señor gobernando en Jerusalén.
Hab 2:14 RVG10 Porque la tierra será llena del conocimiento de la gloria de Jehová, como las aguas cubren el mar.
Pero también vemos en Zacarías 14 que algunas naciones se negarán a honrar al Señor en la Fiesta de los Tabernáculos. ¡Y pagarán el precio con sequía y plagas = pestilencia!
Y es probable que algunas personas de las naciones rebeldes mueran a causa de este castigo.
Zech 14:16 RVG10 Y sucederá que todos los que quedaren de las naciones que vinieron contra Jerusalén subirán de año en año a adorar al Rey, Jehová de los ejércitos, y a celebrar la fiesta de los tabernáculos.
Zech 14:17 RVG10 Y acontecerá que los de las familias de la tierra que no subieren a Jerusalén a adorar al Rey, Jehová de los ejércitos, no vendrá sobre ellos lluvia.
Zech 14:18 RVG10 Y si la familia de Egipto no subiere, y no viniere, sobre ellos no habrá lluvia; vendrá la plaga con que Jehová herirá a las naciones que no subieren a celebrar la fiesta de los tabernáculos.
Zech 14:19 RVG10 Éste será el castigo de Egipto, y el castigo de todas las naciones que no subieren a celebrar la fiesta de los tabernáculos.
Así que todavía habrá pecado, y terquedad periódica que el Señor deberá corregir…
Y aunque la gente vivirá más, seguirá habiendo muerte.
Isa 65:19 RVG10 Y me alegraré con Jerusalén, y me gozaré con mi pueblo; y nunca más se oirán en ella voz de lloro, ni voz de clamor.
Isa 65:20 RVG10 No habrá más allí niño que muera de días, ni viejo que sus días no cumpla; porque el niño morirá de cien años, y el pecador de cien años, será maldito.
Así que el Señor dice que los niños no morirán jóvenes como sucede hoy. Un hombre que aún se considera joven puede morir a los 100 años.
La forma en que se expresa parece indicar que este hombre murió más joven de lo esperado: con solo 100 años.
Y al final de los 1000 años del Milenio, Satanás será liberado para engañar a las naciones una vez más. ¡Y muchos estarán dispuestos a escucharlo!
En el versículo 9 vemos que un gran número de estos rebeldes marchará hacia Jerusalén, ¡presumiblemente para conquistarla!
¡Pero el Padre lanzará fuego del cielo para consumirlos!
Rev 20:7 RVG10 Y cuando los mil años fueren cumplidos, Satanás será suelto de su prisión,
Rev 20:8 RVG10 y saldrá para engañar a las naciones que están sobre los cuatro ángulos de la tierra, Gog y Magog, a fin de reunirlos para la batalla; el número de los cuales es como la arena del mar.
Rev 20:9 RVG10 Y subieron sobre la anchura de la tierra, y rodearon el campamento de los santos, y la ciudad amada; y de Dios descendió fuego del cielo, y los devoró.
Rev 20:10 RVG10 Y el diablo que los engañaba, fue lanzado en el lago de fuego y azufre, donde está la bestia y el falso profeta; y serán atormentados día y noche por siempre jamás.
Así que podemos ver que aún existirá un trasfondo de pecaminosidad en la humanidad. Muchos aceptarán al Señor durante este tiempo. Pero algunos simplemente estarán esperando la oportunidad de escapar del control de Dios y hacer lo que quieran.
El Milenio será, sin duda, un tiempo maravilloso de paz y justicia bajo el Señor. Pero aún habrá pecado, terquedad, imperfección y muerte.
Así que no es un tiempo ni un entorno perfectos. Ese será el tiempo de la Nueva Jerusalén en el Cielo y la Tierra Nuevos. Véase Apocalipsis 21-22 para ese tiempo.
¡Pero este tiempo del Milenio sin duda será mejor que cualquier otro que tengamos ahora en esta tierra!
