Iran, Elam and those Missiles!

HI FRIENDS! HERE’S A PROPHECY THOUGHT FOR YOU.

WOW! Iran is still in the news a lot!
They’re making deals with the USA and then firing missiles, and damaging ships,
and killing some of their crew!
And that’s hurting a lot of nations economies! It can’t continue.
So now the USA is hitting Iran daily with air strikes, trying to destroy as
many of Iran’s remaining missiles as possible.
And I’ve just noticed some details in Jeremiah 49 about Iran that I hadn’t
noticed before!
Jer 49:34 WEBBE the LORD’s word that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam . .
Who is Elam?
Google AI Overview Downloaded 02-28-26 says this –
Based on biblical genealogy, the Elamites are considered descendants of Elam, the firstborn son of Shem (Genesis 10:22), making them biblical Semites and distant relatives of the Israelites (who descend from Shem’s descendant, Abraham). Now let’s look at this prophecy some more –
Jer 49:34 WEBBE the LORD’s word that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying,
Jer 49:35 WEBBE the LORD of Armies says: Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.
Jer 49:36 WEBBE On Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of the sky, and will scatter them towards all those winds; and there shall be no nation where the outcasts of Elam shall not come.
Jer 49:37 WEBBE I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before those who seek their life; and I will bring evil on them, even my fierce anger, says the LORD; and I will send the sword after them, until I have consumed them;
Jer 49:38 WEBBE and I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from there king and princes, says the LORD.
Jer 49:39 WEBBE But it shall happen in the latter days, that I will bring back the captivity of Elam, says the LORD.
This prophecy sure seems to me to indicate that these people of Elam will be attacked from all directions and dispersed in all directions. The Lord also says that He will bring war on them.
Now I checked and it appears that ancient Elam wasn’t dispersed this much.
Google AI Overview (07-17-26) notes that – “Instead of a physical dispersal, the “disappearance” of the Elamites was largely a linguistic and cultural assimilation.”
And I also found this in another Google AI Overview (07-17-26) which says that

Now as I read it, this extensive dispersion of descendants of the ancient Elamites is very much a modern event! Within the last few decades it seems!
So this prophecy to Elam in Jeremaih 49:34-39 seems like it may refer to our modern times also!
And with that in mind, lets look more closely at this verse –

So I did some more digging and found this info –

Interestingly, a significant portion of Iran’s ballistic missiles, drones and underground missile cities are in the area of ancient Elam. As I understand it, the Bakhtiari and Lurs peoples of Iran live in these areas.

Look at the map. Compare it to a map of ancient Elam.
Many of their missile sites are in the area of ancient Elam.
Fascinating I think!

Now considering all of this information, do you think maybe descendants
of the ancient Elamites are still today shooting their “bows”.
It’s just that their arrows are now missiles and drones!
And that area of the Bakhtiari and Lurs peoples today is where ancient Elam was.
Another Google AI Overview (07-17-26) says that “The geographical overlap is striking. The modern territories of the Lurs and Bakhtiaris, spanning the Zagros Mountains, correspond closely to ancient Elam. THINK. US naval forces have been deployed to the Strait of Hormuz from the Indio-Pacific (the East) and from the Atlantic and Europe (the Northwest).
And now their airstrikes are destroying much of Iran’s remaining missiles and other assets.
QUESTION – Does it seem like maybe Iran’s missiles (their modern bow and arrows) are being broken – Just like Jeremiah 49:35 prophesied?
