God Will Complete The Work In Us!

Hi Friends! Here’s A Bible Thought For You.
Look what Paul says here –
Phil 1:6 AKJV/PCE Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Robertson’s Word Pictures explains that “perform” as – Will perfect it (επιτελεσε). Future active indicative of επιτελεω, will fully (επι-) finish. God began and God will consummate it . . .but not without their cooperation and partnership”.
POINT – God has begun the work of our full Salvation and he will Complete it!
Such a Wonderful Promise! Grab A hold of this Promise and Let God do it in you! Amen!
1Cor 1:8 AKJV/PCE Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
God will work on us making us Firm in our Faith so that we are Blameless when Jesus comes for us!
Such a Wonderful Promise friends!
1Thess 5:23 AKJV/PCE And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Thess 5:24 AKJV/PCE Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
Sanctified Wholly = Completely Dedicated to God to the End!
Blameless = Faultless.
2Cor 7:1 AKJV/PCE Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Cleanse = Purify ourselves!
Perfecting = Perfecting more and more.
RWP says this “Perfecting holiness (επιτελουντες αγιοσυνην). Not merely negative goodness (cleansing), but aggressive and progressive (present tense of επιτελεω) holiness, not a sudden attainment of complete holiness, but a continuous process (1Thess 3:13; Rom 1:4; Rom 1:6). ”.
A Continuous Process . . . in other words we grow closer to God all of our lives if we work at it and allow God to help us with it!
And that “perfecting” in 2 Corinthians 7:1 is Present Active Participle Tense.
And Google AI Overview says this – “Yes, the Greek present active participle generally indicates ongoing or continuous action that is simultaneous with the action of the main verb.”
Just running a few References and looking at some Definitions and we see that God is actively working within us as Believers to keep us Firm in the Faith and to Perfect it in us and to have us Blameless when Jesus comes for us.
That is so very encouraging!
So let’s do our best to be Dedicated to God!
And let’s allow the Father to do this wonderful work within us.

La obra de Robertson, Word Pictures, explica que (Traducción de Google) “realizar” significa: la perfeccionará (επιτελεσε). Futuro activo de indicativo de επιτελεω, terminará completamente (επι-). Dios comenzó y Dios la consumará… pero no sin su cooperación y compañerismo.
PUNTO: ¡Dios ha comenzado la obra de nuestra salvación completa y la completará!
¡Qué promesa tan maravillosa! Aférrate a esta promesa y deja que Dios la haga en ti. ¡Amén!

Un proceso continuo… en otras palabras, nos acercamos a Dios toda la vida si nos esforzamos por lograrlo y permitimos que Dios nos ayude.
Y ese “perfeccionando” en 2 Corintios 7:1 está en el participio presente activo.

Con solo revisar algunas referencias y algunas definiciones, vemos que Dios está obrando activamente en nosotros como creyentes para mantenernos firmes en la fe, perfeccionarla y tenernos irreprensibles cuando Jesús venga por nosotros.
