Rom 13:1 ESV2011 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.
We have to have some degree of Government. Like it or not. And we usually don’t.
QUESTION – Does God literally establish every person in every Government?
Rom 13:3 ESV2011 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval,
WELL . . . That depends on if the ruler, Elected Official, Bureaucrat . . . or whatever is fairly honest or not . .
QUESTION – Are rulers frightening? Or not??

Rom 13:6 ESV2011 For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing.

Maybe Taxes were a real sore spot for some Galileans also.
Acts 5:37 ESV2011 After him Judas the Galilean rose up in the days of the census and drew away some of the people after him. He too perished, and all who followed him were scattered.
Now Google AI says that Judas’ resistance against Taxes was a Basis in the rise of the Zealots movement! I hadn’t known that.

Rom 13:1 RVG10 Toda alma sométase a las potestades superiores; porque no hay potestad sino de Dios; y las potestades que hay, de Dios son ordenadas.
Necesitamos cierto grado de gobierno. Nos guste o no. Y normalmente no lo tenemos.
PREGUNTA: ¿Dios establece literalmente a cada persona en cada gobierno?
Rom 13:3 RVG10 Porque los magistrados no están para atemorizar las buenas obras, sino las malas. ¿Quieres, pues, no temer la potestad? Haz lo bueno, y tendrás alabanza de ella.
BUENO… Eso depende de si el gobernante, funcionario electo, burócrata… o quien sea, es honesto o no…
PREGUNTA: ¿Dan miedo los gobernantes? ¿O no?
