A New Covenant!

HI FRIENDS! HERE’S A PROPHECY THOUGHT FOR YOU.

I heard a minister once preach that there was not a new covenant. Just the same one given by Moses!
That was the last time I went to that church!
YES God did too prophecy that He would Give a New Covenant. And that it would be Very Different from the Old Testament Law given through Moses!!
Look how the letter to the Hebrews talks about this New Covenant quoting from Jeremiah 31:31-34.
Heb 8:6 ESV2011 But as it is, Christ has obtained a ministry that is as much more excellent than the old as the covenant he mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises.
Heb 8:7 ESV2011 For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion to look for a second.
NOTICE – Christ mediates (Heb. 8:6) for us in this Better New Covenant that is based on Better Promises!
That first covenant (the Law of Moses) was not perfect (Heb. 8:7). Sacrificing bulls and goats could not cleanse the conscience, the mind of the people.
In fact, they had to come back each new year to offer for more new sins (Heb. 10:3)!
Heb 10:1 ESV2011 For since the law has but a shadow of the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near.
Heb 10:2 ESV2011 Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, since the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have any consciousness of sins?
Heb 10:3 ESV2011 But in these sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year.
In fact, what the Law did was show people that there was sin, and what it was!
Rom 7:8 ESV2011 But sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of covetousness. For apart from the law, sin lies dead.
I think we might say that the Law showed mankind our sins, and started us down that road to the realization that we couldn’t get rid of our sins ourselves. So consequently, we desperately have to have God’s help and forgiveness for all those sins!
And thus enters Christ who died to cover sins – the New Covenant!
NOW BACK to Hebrews 8:8 –
Heb 8:8 ESV2011 For he finds fault with them when he says: “Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,
Heb 8:9 ESV2011 not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt. For they did not continue in my covenant, and so I showed no concern for them, declares the Lord.
Heb 8:10 ESV2011 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
That is a Quote from Jeremiah 31:31-34.
NOTICE That the Lord tells the people that He will establish a New Covenant!
And it won’t be like the Old Testament Covenant that the Lord give Israel when He brought them out of Egypt!
That covenant was the Law of Moses!
And as we saw back in Hebrews 8:6 – It is Christ who is Now Mediating this Better, More Excellent New Covenant for us.
Heb 8:6 ESV2011 But as it is, Christ has obtained a ministry that is as much more excellent than the old as the covenant he mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises.
This New Covenant is Salvation and Forgiveness for us through Jesus Sacrifice!

¡Un Nuevo Pacto!

HOLA AMIGOS! AQUÍ HAY UNA PROFECÍA PENSADA PARA TI.
Una vez escuché a un ministro predicar que no había un nuevo pacto. ¡Solo el mismo que dio Moisés!
¡Esa fue la última vez que fui a esa iglesia!
Sí, Dios también profetizó que daría un nuevo pacto. ¡Y que sería muy diferente de la Ley del Antiguo Testamento dada por medio de Moisés!
Miren cómo la carta a los Hebreos habla de este nuevo pacto citando Jeremías 31:31-34.
Heb 8:6 RVG10 Mas ahora tanto mejor ministerio es el suyo, por cuanto Él es el mediador de un mejor testamento, que ha sido establecido sobre mejores promesas.
Heb 8:7 RVG10 Porque si aquel primer pacto hubiera sido sin falta, no se hubiera procurado lugar para el segundo.
AVISO: Cristo media (Hebreos 8:6) por nosotros en este Nuevo Pacto Mejor, basado en Promesas Mejores.
Ese primer pacto (la Ley de Moisés) no fue perfecto (Hebreos 8:7). Sacrificar toros y machos cabríos no podía purificar la conciencia, la mente del pueblo.
De hecho, tenían que regresar cada año nuevo para ofrecer por nuevos pecados (Hebreos 10:3).
Heb 10:1 RVG10 Porque la ley, teniendo la sombra de los bienes venideros, no la imagen misma de las cosas, nunca puede, por los mismos sacrificios que se ofrecen continuamente cada año, hacer perfectos a los que se acercan.
Heb 10:2 RVG10 De otra manera cesarían de ofrecerse, ya que los adoradores, limpios una vez, no tendrían más conciencia de pecado.
Heb 10:3 RVG10 Pero en estos sacrificios cada año se hace memoria de los pecados.
¡De hecho, lo que hizo la Ley fue mostrar a la gente que existía el pecado y cuál era!
Rom 7:8 RVG10 Pero el pecado, tomando ocasión por el mandamiento, produjo en mí toda codicia. Porque sin la ley el pecado estaba muerto.
Creo que podríamos decir que la Ley mostró a la humanidad nuestros pecados y nos llevó por ese camino a la comprensión de que no podíamos deshacernos de ellos por nosotros mismos. Por consiguiente, ¡necesitamos desesperadamente la ayuda y el perdón de Dios por todos esos pecados!
Y así entra Cristo, quien murió para cubrir los pecados: ¡el Nuevo Pacto!
Ahora volvamos a Hebreos 8:8.
Heb 8:8 RVG10 Porque hallando falta en ellos, dice: He aquí vienen días, dice el Señor, cuando estableceré con la casa de Israel y con la casa de Judá un nuevo pacto;
Heb 8:9 RVG10 No como el pacto que hice con sus padres el día que los tomé por la mano para sacarlos de la tierra de Egipto: Porque ellos no permanecieron en mi pacto, y yo los desatendí, dice el Señor.
Heb 8:10 RVG10 Porque éste es el pacto que haré con la casa de Israel, después de aquellos días, dice el Señor: Pondré mis leyes en sus mentes, y sobre sus corazones las escribiré; y seré a ellos por Dios, y ellos me serán a mí por pueblo:
Esa es una cita de Jeremías 31:31-34.
¡NOTA! El Señor le dice al pueblo que establecerá un Nuevo Pacto.
¡Y no será como el Pacto del Antiguo Testamento que el Señor le dio a Israel cuando los sacó de Egipto!
¡Ese pacto era la Ley de Moisés!
Y como vimos en Hebreos 8:6, es Cristo quien ahora está mediando este Nuevo Pacto, mejor y más excelente, para nosotros.
