So it would make sense that Egypt might be nervous when Jesus has returned to the land of Israel (right next to Egypt!) to rule this earth for the 1,000 years. See Revelation 19:11-20:7. Egypt might fear the Lord ruling right next to them!

Why are just 5 cities converted to the Lord of armies? I don’t know.
Maybe this shows an early conversion of some areas of Egypt – But not the entire country yet.
REMEMBER – Also the number 5 in the Bible is often understood as a symbol of God’s grace and favor to mankind!
Isa 19:21 WEB Yahweh will be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know Yahweh in that day. Yes, they will worship with sacrifice and offering, and will vow a vow to Yahweh, and will perform it.

So that highway will likely pass through the land of Israel.

And Egypt and Assyria will both worship together.
Isaiah 19:21 above says that Egypt will worship the Lord with sacrifice and offering!
So Egypt and Assyria will worship the Lord the same as Israel will!
And verse 24 tells us that Israel, Egypt and Assyria will be united in this Middle of the Earth!
Isa 19:24 ISV At that time, Israel will be in a triple alliance with Egypt and Assyria; they will be a blessing in the midst of the earth.
