Alliances (Google English Dictionary) – a union or association formed for mutual benefit, especially between countries or organizations.

I think we see several important National Alliances in Bible Prophecy during the End Times.
1. A Far Northern Alliance. In Ezekiel 38 I believe that we see Russia and her many allies in the far north invade the Land of Israel. Gomer = an area in Europe, Togarmah = the area around Armenia, or in Turkey.
And she has some allies in the South also. Persia = Iran, Cush = Modern Ethiopia, and Put = Libya. And Modern Iran and Ethipia especially support and are supported by Russia.
Ezek 38:3 WEB and say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against you, Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal:
Ezek 38:4 WEB and I will turn you around, and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you forth, with all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them handling swords;
Ezek 38:5 WEB Persia, Cush, and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet;
Ezek 38:6 WEB Gomer, and all his hordes; the house of Togarmah in the uttermost parts of the north, and all his hordes; even many peoples with you.
Many today think that the name Rosh is indicating Modern Russia!

In Chapter Three: Ezekiel’s Northern Nations and Russia Page 104 explains that “Finally, this chapter has shown that the name of Rosh mentioned by Ezekiel has played a profoundly significant role in the history of Russia— even to the point of actually naming it!”
CBN says “the chief prince = the head, or leader of Rosh. Hebrew Rosh, which may point to Russia.”
JF&B says “the chief prince—rather, “prince of Rosh,” or “Rhos” [Septuagint]. The Scythian Tauri in the Crimea were so called. The Araxes also was called “Rhos.” The modern Russians may have hence assumed their name, as Moscow and Tobolsk from Meshech and Tubal . .”.
2. A Western Alliance. As Russia and her many allies move South toward the Middle East and the Land of Israel, we also see another alliance (a group of nations) that opposes and challenges Russia’s invasion!
Ezek 38:13 WEB Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions of it, shall tell you, Have you come to take the spoil? have you assembled your company to take the prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great spoil?
Tarshish = Spain.

NOTICE – Also that Tarshish has some Young Lions who are opposing this Russian led invasion of Israel. I think these Young Lions are Western Political Powers, Nations that grow out of this ancient Western Base in Tarshish, Spain.
And Ezekiel 38:13 also mentions Sheba and Dedan in this Western Alliance.
Sheba – Is often thought to be Modern Yemen. The Houthi’s in Yemen are a powerful group who strongly oppose Israel, the USA, and the Saudi-led coalition Government in Yemen! So does this indicate that the West and Yemen may get control over these troublesome Houthi’s? I have no idea!
Dedan – is in Modern Saudi Arabia. Google AI says “Yes, the ancient city-state of Dedan, mentioned in the Bible, is located in the area of modern-day Saudi Arabia. Specifically, it’s identified with the oasis of Al-‘Ula in the northwest of the country.”
In Daniel 11:30 We see more Hints of this Powerful Maritime Western Culture in the End Times. And there it also seems concerned with matters in the Middle East!
Dan 11:30 WEB For ships of Kittim shall come against him; therefore he shall be grieved, and shall return, and have indignation against the holy covenant, and shall do his pleasure: he shall even return, and have regard to those who forsake the holy covenant.
Here in Daniel 11:30 we see a Future Ruler that arises in Daniel 11:21-45. And that, I believe, Future Ruler will invade Egypt. But a Western Naval Power (Rome in ancient times) confronts him! I believe that we’ll see this prophecy fully fulfilled in the Future. And it will be our Western Alliance (NATO) with it’s tremendous Naval Power that will oppose this disruption of the Middle East.
In Revelation 12 we also see a woman representing the people of Israel. And as Satan is thrown from heaven and finally banished to earth she has to flee for her life. And she has a place and support to keep her alive during the last half of the Great Tribulation.
Rev 12:6 WEB The woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that there they may nourish her one thousand two hundred sixty days.
And we see this situation mentioned again in Revelation 12:13-14.
Rev 12:13 WEB When the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child.
Rev 12:14 WEB Two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, so that she might be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
And this woman (Symbolizing Israel) is given “ Two wings of the great eagle”. That sounds like an Airlift to help these people of Israel escape from Satan’s attack! And they have a place provided for them as well as food and surely other essential supplies. I believe this support is from some other Nations that are still concerned for Israel. We sure don’t see any indication of this concern for Israel from the Northern Alliance! They invade the land of Israel!
And our Bible has already shown that the Western Alliance (surely Western Europe, Canada and the USA) is very concerned with the Middle East (Daniel 11:30) and the Land of Israel (Ezekiel 38:13).
It sure seems to me that these two alliances – The Northern and the Western Alliances – already exist in our modern world.

Creo que vemos varias alianzas nacionales importantes en la profecía bíblica durante el fin de los tiempos.
1. Una Alianza en el Extremo Norte. En Ezequiel 38, creo que vemos a Rusia y a sus numerosos aliados del extremo norte invadir la Tierra de Israel. Gomer = una zona de Europa, Togarma = la zona alrededor de Armenia o en Turquía. También tiene aliados en el sur. Persia = Irán, Cus = la actual Etiopía y Fut = Libia. Y el Irán y Etiopía actuales apoyan y reciben el apoyo de Rusia.

Saba: Se suele pensar que es el Yemen moderno. Los hutíes en Yemen son un grupo poderoso que se opone firmemente a Israel, Estados Unidos y el gobierno de coalición liderado por Arabia Saudí en Yemen. ¿Indica esto que Occidente y Yemen podrían controlar a estos problemáticos hutíes? ¡No tengo ni idea!

En Daniel 11:30 vemos más indicios de esta poderosa cultura marítima occidental en el fin de los tiempos. ¡Y allí también parece estar relacionada con los asuntos de Oriente Medio!

Aquí, en Daniel 11:30, vemos a un futuro gobernante que surge en Daniel 11:21-45. Y creo que ese futuro gobernante invadirá Egipto. ¡Pero una potencia naval occidental (Roma en la antigüedad) se enfrentará a él! Creo que veremos esta profecía cumplirse plenamente en el futuro. Y será nuestra Alianza Occidental (OTAN), con su enorme poder naval, la que se opondrá a esta perturbación en Oriente Medio.
En Apocalipsis 12 también vemos a una mujer que representa al pueblo de Israel. Y cuando Satanás es arrojado del cielo y finalmente desterrado a la tierra, ella tiene que huir para salvar su vida. Y tiene un lugar y apoyo para mantenerse con vida durante la última mitad de la Gran Tribulación.

Y a esta mujer (que simboliza a Israel) se le dan “dos alas de la gran águila”. ¡Eso suena como un puente aéreo para ayudar a este pueblo de Israel a escapar del ataque de Satanás! Y se les proporciona un lugar, además de comida y, sin duda, otros suministros esenciales. Creo que este apoyo proviene de otras naciones que aún están preocupadas por Israel. ¡Ciertamente no vemos ninguna indicación de esta preocupación por Israel por parte de la Alianza del Norte! ¡Invaden la tierra de Israel!
Y nuestra Biblia ya ha mostrado que la Alianza Occidental (seguramente Europa Occidental, Canadá y EE. UU.) está muy preocupada por Oriente Medio (Daniel 11:30) y la Tierra de Israel (Ezequiel 38:13).
Me parece que estas dos alianzas, la del Norte y la Occidental, ya existen en nuestro mundo moderno.
