That Last Trump Isn’t God’s Last Trumpet!!

Hey Friends. Here is another Bible Thought for you. 🙂

I hope these help you and make you think.
And I truly hope they encourage you.
Someone told me that the Catching Up of the Church is at the last trumpet.

1Cor 15:52 ESV2011 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last
trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable,
and we shall be changed.

And they said that we see this last of the seven trumpets in Revelation 11:15.
So that has to be when the Catching Up of the Church happens.

Rev 11:15 ESV2011 Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were
loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the
kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.”

BUT That can’t be correct!

This trumpet in 1 Cor. 15:52 is NOT the Last Trumpet in God’s Prophecy
Timeline.

1Cor 15:52 ESV2011 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last
trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable,
and we shall be changed.

That word there that we translate “last” is Strong’s –
G2078 ἔσχατος eschatos adj . farthest, final (of place or time).

That is the trumpet call of Jesus at that time as He comes and Catches Us Up to
Himself.

It doesn’t have anything to do with that seventh trumpet in Revelation 11:15.

LISTEN!

IN Revelation 11:15 that trumpet is the LAST of that series of seven trumpets

announcing more judgment from God on this earth and the people!

Rev 11:15 ESV2011 Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were
loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the
kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.”

But we don’t see anything there about a Catching Up of the Church.

But we do see something interesting in the next verse . . .

Rev 11:16 ESV2011 And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before
God fell on their faces and worshiped God.

We can know that those 24 Elders are resurrected and in heaven in Revelation
4:4 because of what we see in Revelation 4:4 –

Rev 4:4 ESV2011 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on
the thrones were twenty-four elders, clothed in white garments, with golden
crowns on their heads.

See those crowns and thrones these 24 elders have . . .
Peter shows that we Christians get our crowns when the chief Shepherd comes
and gets us!

1Pet 5:4 ESV2011 And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the
unfading crown of glory.

They and their crowns are first seen in Revelation 4 when John gets called up
by Jesus trumpet voice to heaven and there John sees these resurrected 24
elders in front of the Father’s throne!
So these 24 elders have already been resurrected and have their crowns LONG
before that seventh trumpet in Revelation 11:15!

And a little secret . . . That Last Trumpet in Revelation 11:15 is NOT the
Last Trumpet that will be sounded in God’s End Times plans!

Matthew 24:31 tells us that there is another Trumpet that sounds as Jesus
returns TO this earth for the Second Time.

Matt 24:31 AKJV/PCE And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a
trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one
end of heaven to the other.

That situation there in Matthew 24:31 corresponds with Jesus Second Coming
that we see described in Revelation 19:11-16. It is Jesus’ Second Coming to
take control of this earth and rule during the Millennium.

Rev 19:11 ESV2011 Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse!
The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges
and makes war.
Rev 19:12 ESV2011 His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many
diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself.
Rev 19:13 ESV2011 He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by
which he is called is The Word of God.
Rev 19:14 ESV2011 And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and
pure, were following him on white horses.
Rev 19:15 ESV2011 From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike
down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the
winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.
Rev 19:16 ESV2011 On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King
of kings and Lord of lords.

Paul also talks about this Catching Up of the Church and the trumpet of
God in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.

1Thess 4:13 ESV2011 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers,
about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no
hope.
1Thess 4:14 ESV2011 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again,
even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.
1Thess 4:15 ESV2011 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that
we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede
those who have fallen asleep.
1Thess 4:16 ESV2011 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry
of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet
of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
1Thess 4:17 ESV2011 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up
together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
1Thess 4:18 ESV2011 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

Then in 1 Thessalonians 5 Paul begins to talk about the day of the Lord when
God’s judgment will start falling on this earth.

And there Paul tells us that –
1Thess 5:9 ESV2011 For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain
salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

So we are not destined to endure God’s wrath that He pours out upon this earth
and the unbelievers!

Paul says very clearly that we Christians will not go through that wrath from God
on this earth!

IF we go up at that Last Trumpet in Revelation 11:15 then . . . we have
some real scripture problems!

Because in Revelation 6:17 we see the unsaved people still on this earth are
already understanding clearly enough that it is God’s wrath – and not just more
warfare of man against man – that is hitting and punishing this earth!

Rev 6:15 ESV2011 Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the
generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid
themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.
Rev 6:16 ESV2011 calling to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us
from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the
Lamb.
Rev 6:17 ESV2011 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can
stand?”

Now those unsaved people there in Revelation 6 have finally realized that it’s
the wrath of God that is happening during that 6th Seal.

UNDERSTAND – That wrath of God has been increasing in power since the start
of the Great Tribulation in Revelation 6:1!
It just took these slow pokes on earth a little while to figure it out.

AND UNDERSTAND that the 6th Seal in Revelation 6:17 and God’s wrath there

occurs Long Before that ‘last trumpet'(?) of Rev 11:15!!

Those judgments of the Seals, Trumpets, and Bowls in the Revelation are laid
out in numerical order.

CONCLUSION – So the Catching Up of the Church and the Resurrection seen
in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, and in Revelation 4:1-4 occur Long before that 7 th
trumpet in Revelation 11:15!

And the wrath of God declared by people on earth in Revelation 6:15-17 also
starts Long before that 7 th trumpet in Revelation 11:15!

REMEMBER – We aren’t destined to go through that wrath of God on this
earth!!

1Thess 5:9 AKJV/PCE For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain
salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
1Thess 5:11 AKJV/PCE Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one
another, even as also ye do.

And you bet ya I’ll continue to encourage and comfort people with that clear
understanding of God’s promise to Catch Us Up BEFORE the Great Tribulation
and God’s wrath start to hit this earth!

Paul tells us to do that!
Anything else is sin!

Amen!
