Seventy Weeks To Finish It!!

HI FRIENDS! HERE’S A PROPHECY THOUGHT FOR YOU.

What things did the Messiah’s Coming accomplish?
Dan 9:24 AKJV/PCE Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
God gave Daniel and list of Prophecy Items left to complete.
And He gave Daniel the Timeline for their Completion.
And God told Daniel how to tell the Day when this Timeline starts Counting Down!
It’s Great reading. But it takes a little work to understand.
This pertains to the people of Judah – the Jewish people – and their Holy City – Jerusalem.
Seventy weeks – Actually Seventy Sevened. Seventy X Seven = 490. Surely 490 years based on a perfect Lunar Calendar which is what Israel used. It had 30 days per each of the twelve months. So an even 360 days in the year.
Our Solar Calenday had 365 days.
And a LOT is Going to be Accomplished!!
Dan 9:24 ESV2011 “Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place.
1 Finish the transgresion = revolt!
2 Complete sins = 1. an offense (sometimes habitual sinfulness). 2. (also) the penalty, occasion.
3 Make reconciliation for iniquity = cover depravity.
4 Bring in everlasting righteousness.
5 Seal up (Close up) vision and prophet.
6 Anoint the Holy place.
Now 6 is Clearly the Anointing of the New Temple in Jerusalem during Jesus Millennial Reign over this earth!
And there is prophecy in the Revelation covering the New Heaven and Earth after Jesus Millennial Reign is over!
NOW Prophecy does not end at Point 5 where Vision and Prophet are Sealed Up.
BUT I think we surely could say that Vision and Prophet are Sealed up Fully in Christ Jesus at His coming to rule this earth for those 1,000 years.
As John Gill says “. . all prophecy is sealed up in Christ, and by him; he is the sum and substance of it . . ”.
